Hey all!! It has been awhile and WOW has life changed a ton over the past months!! Like many of you, my life went into a pause - and while it was refreshing for a bit - I am excited to get back into the swing of things (and also excited to be done homeschooling my children!) Fashion also went into the background as I lived in sweats and pajamas....while nice for a time, but when April, Sarah and Megan asked if I wanted to do a blog for some summer fashion, they did NOT have to ask me twice!!
I hope that all of you are as excited as I am to start getting out of the house a bit more and I KNOW that you are going to love these finds for fun additions to your summer wardrobe!! So sit back, grab a cocktail (or, if you are like me and you ALWAYS have a cocktail in hand during quarantine, then you are set!) and enjoy some summer fashion!! Grab these quickly as these styles won't be around long - they are JUST THAT GOOD!!!
Let's start off with my favorite - animal print!! This top is absolutely AMAZING!! If I could ONLY wear animal print - I would - and this top has quickly become a closet staple for me! I love that it is animal print, but not the traditional black and white - the taupe and white combination is wonderful for summer. The tank is perfect with its v-neck and button details! It is so soft and easy to throw on for an effortlessly stylish look!! It is also an easy choice to wear for a night out or to a small backyard gathering (where everyone will be giving you compliments from the socially acceptable distance of 6 feet away 😉)!! It fits true to size - I am wearing a small.
The second dream top that I have for you is this black off-the-shoulder! If you know me, I am ALWAYS wearing off the shoulder tops!! They are incredibly stylish and this style is easy to wear with a strapless bra or bandeau because of the way the top flows!! Comfort AND style - sign me up!! I sized up to a medium on this top because I have broad shoulders. If you don't, then it is definitely fits true to size.
Pair it with these white distressed jeans and you have a perfect outfit! These jeans fit true to size - I was wearing a 7. They are BEYOND comfortable with the perfect amount of stretch. I love the distressed hem on these - between that detail and the stretch, I am not sure you could find a more perfect white jean!
Lastly, these shorts! They can paired with A.N.Y.T.H.I.N.G. Literally, anything! They worked with the black off the shoulder top and flat sandals or a more casual top! They have a higher waist to hold everything in, but they are not too tight around the thighs; this combo, friends, is my DREAM!!! And, quite honestly, not always easy to find!! These are true to size - I am wearing a small.
I am also including a back view because if you are like me, you don't know if you are going to like a pair of shorts until you see where the pockets fall on the back of the shorts!
